The hockey season is fast approaching and the Bur Bear is back! Aldershot School will be hosting the 40th Bur Bear Varsity Boys Hockey Tournament. This year’s event will be held February 5-7, 2026 at Appleby Ice Centre in Burlington, ON. Probable Format (Subject to Change): -Tier 1: 16 Teams, Tier 2: 8 Teams -Tier 1: 4 Divisions of 4 Teams, Tier 2: 2 Divisions of 4 Teams -4 Games Guaranteed -2 Games on Thursday, 2 Games on Friday, and Possibly 2 Games on Saturday -All games will be 1 x 12 and 2 x 15 minute stop time periods Entry Fee: Total: $1050.00 Deposit: $500.00 (Due at Time of Registration to Confirm Entry) Remaining Balance: $550.00 (Due February 5th, 2026) *All cheques are payable to Aldershot School* Registration Requirements: 1.
